9.00 am/ 1.00 pm/ 5.00 pm (Morning/ Afternoon/ Evening)
Robing
Graduates may robe in the robing room or in the various restrooms located at the Nanyang Auditorium. Please follow the directional signs to the robing room.
Seating
Each graduate is assigned to a seat which you will occupy throughout the ceremony. Please refer to the convocation book, available at the information counter and robing room, for your seat number. The seat number is indicated against your name. Graduates are to report to the registration counter after they have robed to have their attendance taken and to obtain an attendance card for entrance into the theatre. All graduates must be seated by 9.10 am/ 1.10 pm/ 5.10 pm (Morning/ Afternoon/ Evening).
During the Ceremony
As the convocation is a solemn occasion, graduates are requested to observe the following as a form of respect to the Presiding Officer and the Academic Procession:

Graduates are to remain in their seats throughout the whole ceremony and are strongly advised against leaving the theatre during the ceremony.

Graduates are to wear their full academic dress ie gown, hood and mortarboard or bonnet (for PhD graduates) throughout the ceremony.

Handphones and pagers are to be switched off or set to silent mode during the ceremony.
