Eligibility for Convocation

Though the University is happy to see as many students graduate and convocate together with their peers, we would like to seek your understanding that there is a process and schedule for the marks computation and submission for graduating students attending the convocation. To be eligible for Convocation 2008, the results of your final semester of study must reach the Office of Academic Services by mid-June 2008 and you must have fulfilled all the requirements for your degree.

For final year students who complete their attachments (including Industrial Orientation) later than 7 June 2008, your results will not be confirmed in time for inclusion in Convocation 2008. Similarly, for final year students undergoing exchange programmes, you will not be included in Convocation 2008 if your results cannot reach the Office of Academic Services by 17 June 2008. These students will still graduate and be conferred their degree after successful completion of their attachments or exchange programmes. They are allowed to join the convocation in the following year and will need to indicate to the Office of Academic Services their preference to join Convocation 2009, by 30 September 2008.
